What makes a good student music video?
Music
videos need to be tailored to fit the genre of the music whether they are for a
music company or for a school music video like the one. Moreover, for a school
music video to be classed as it needs to have the following features;
·
Video fits genre of music
·
Characters are thought and fit in with genre etc.
·
Costumes should have been considered
·
Casting should have been considered
·
Setting should have been considered
The
little elements to a music video when put together make up the most of the
video. These elements need to have been considered in some way to ensure
everything interlinks. For example if theme is set in a jungle then costumes
need to be tailored to suit what is stereotypically worn when entering a jungle
like scenario. This is vital to ensure that you get the top grades. The following
images below all interlink and make sense if the piece is set in a
jungle/forest. The characters have been considered as they are unshaven due to the fact they do not have access to stuff like razors etc. also, they wear clothes that match the colour of the setting (Brown, greens, yellows etc.) this links and makes them blend in with the background to ensure they aren't spotted by wildlife.
