We made a Britney re-make for a number of different reasons, the
first one is because for our A2 level media studies we are required to create a
music video, it can be from a well-known song or even a song no one knows. However,
we are asked to consider a number of different elements. Such as, setting, lip
syncing and audience. We have to consider what age group we are aiming at, the type
if storyline we are going to have that we think fits in with the song/lyrics.
The music video we have to make has to contain the full length of
the song, we cannot cut out any sections just because we don’t like it. It must
meet all the requirements that the exam board set otherwise this will have an
effect on out grade. Furthermore, the main reason we decided to do a re-make as
a class was mainly because we needed to get an experience for what music videos
contain and it is practice for when we do out actual music video. Doing this
re-make acts as a template for our real one to see what weren’t so good, what
worked well and what we need to do for next time. Furthermore, below is Britney's actual video for this song.
